Details: All the varieties we grow are hybrids between the Christmas and thanksgiving cactus. Breeders have taken the old varieties and made crosses to create more buds, better colors, and larger flowers. Those are the varieties we use. So, Holiday cactus seems to be an appropriate common name for this cacti! Also, we schedule the timing of the blooms to come in every week through manipulation of lighting and black cloth to create the exact conditions that initiate blooming.
